411 VIdeo Magazine x Sidewalk Heritage 'Our Story' Zine.

The first major skateboard video periodical, 411 Video Magazine, was founded in 1993 by Steve Douglas, Josh Friedberg, Andy Howell, Chris Ortiz and Paul Schmitt. 411VM provided an up-to-date-minute insight into what was happening in skateboarding, and at the speed it was moving. Videos were vital viewing for the global audience. New skateboarders, tricks, styles and music were introduced to thousand via the network of filmers, advertisers, and the shops selling each new issue. 411VM was essential to a generation, when technical ticks and style couldn't always be captured in print, and when company videos were often released years apart. Contests, scenes, brands and stores from all over the world finally had a platform, and skateboarding very quickly was a lot more connected.
