Vans Skate Anthony Van Engelen Classic in Black/White.
The AVE Classic returns!
It’s a return driven by function, durability, and intent, proof that some shoes deserve a second life.
The Skate AVE Classic is Anthony Van Engelen’s take on the Vans styles he’s always skated. Inspired by staples like the Era, Old Skool, and Slip-On, it keeps things simple with a clean, low-profile build that prioritizes boardfeel and control. As with all of our Skate models, we built it with our vulcanized SickStick™ rubber outsole for perfect grip and boardfeel, PopCush™ insoles for unmatched impact protection, and DuraCap™ underlays for added protection against the wear and tear of griptape.
Low-profile silhouette rooted in classic Vans skate shoes.
Slim design eliminates excess padding.
Lace-up closure with metal eyelets.
Popcush™ insoles are designed for maximum cushioning without sacrificing boardfeel.
DuraCap™ is designed specifically for skateboarding and provides a thin rubber underlay placed in key areas to protect against griptape wear.
Vulcanized sole for superior board feel and flexibility.
SickStick™ rubber—our stickiest yet—keeps you glued to your board.
Signature Anthony Van Engelen model.
Suede upper for a soft, textured finish.
Style: VN000Y1NBA2.
